Digital Personal Alarms
With a digital alarm, our customers benefit from peace of mind throughout the home and garden. Unlike analogue alarms, our digital alarm systems work without a phoneline. Our customers know they can trust their digital personal alarm to keep them safe, providing our fastest connection when alerting our Response Team.
Our digital alarms support our customers to live safely and independently in their own homes. In an emergency, a press of a button, or our intuitive fall detection system, sends an alert to our Response Team, all without using a phoneline. This provides an extra level of reassurance to the lives of people who live alone, have a long-term health condition, or who need extra support at home.

What is a Digital Alarm?
Unlike analogue personal alarms that use a phoneline to connect to our Response Team, a digital alarm instead uses a roaming mobile connection. This makes the digital alarm ideal for people without a phoneline or who seek the benefit of being able to plug their alarm into any room. Using rapid connection technology, your alarm alert can reach our Response Team four times faster than standard monitoring systems.
Digital alarms contain a SIM card like those found in a mobile phone. This card uses the strongest mobile phone signal in your area to send an alert to our Response Team. As a result, there is no need for an analogue phoneline, meaning the digital alarm can be plugged into the mains power of any room.
Futureproof Option for the Digital Switchover
The nationās phonelines are currently undergoing an extensive upgrade as part of the digital switchover. This process involves switching off the old analogue lines and replacing them with a digital system. Following this change, phone calls will instead use a system known as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
Traditional personal alarm systems require an analogue phoneline connection to send an alarm alert. After a phoneline is switched to the new VoIP system, these alarms may require an adaptor to continue functioning, and will need to be plugged directly into a router.
You can continue to rely on our analogue alarms, but our digital alarm is the futureproof option for peace of mind as it is not affected by changes to the nationās phonelines. Instead, it uses only a mains power connection and a roaming mobile network to provide reassurance throughout the home and garden.
Who is a Digital Alarm for?
Digital Personal Alarms for the Elderly
We provide digital alarms for elderly people who live alone, have long-term health conditions, or who want extra reassurance at home. Over-65s have a one-in-three chance of experiencing a fall every year, but a digital alarm provides peace of mind that help can be arranged whenever it is needed.
A digital alarm can also reassure family and friends. They will know that our Response Team are always available to provide support when the alarm is activated.
Digital Alarms for Independence and Peace of Mind
If you want to stay independent at home but need additional support, a digital alarm can provide reassurance. With a digital alarm, you could benefit from peace of mind whilst recovering from an operation, or if you are worried about emergencies in the home. The phoneline free system means a digital alarm can be set up in any room of the house with a mains power connection, keeping you protected 24/7.
Direct from LifeConnect24

When buying an alarm from LifeConnect24, you can be reassured that you are receiving the best quality products and services, keeping you safe and independent at home.
Digital Alarm Pendant
A digital alarm comes in two parts: an alarm base unit and emergency pendant. Your pendant can be worn around the neck, as a digital alarm wristband, or on a belt loop using a digital alarm keychain. These wearing options make digital alarms easily accessible in an emergency. When help is required, simply press the button on your digital pendant to send an alert to our Response Team. If you have chosen fall detection, the pendant can also raise an automatic alert if it senses you have fallen.
Digital alarm pendants are lightweight and waterproof, providing extra reassurance without compromising your independence. You can also continue to wear your pendant in the bath or shower.
When you choose a digital alarm, you benefit from the LifeConnect24 Lifetime Warranty. The digital alarm pendant comes with up to seven years of battery life, with no need to charge. When the battery runs low, the pendant sends an automatic alert to our team and a replacement will be sent out.
If you are worried about misplacing your pendant, or if you want to cover two people at one address with the same alarm plan, you can also purchase a second digital alarm pendant.
