LifeConnect24 will be attending the UK’s largest two-day country fair, The Royal Norfolk Show, on June 28 and 29 at the Norfolk showground this year. This is our first time at the iconic event and we’re looking forward to meeting plenty of new people at our stall.
What’s On & Where to find us
You can find the Lifeline24 stall on Avenue 2 on site, where we will be hosting a number of fun-filled activities throughout the show. We will be offering visitors a lovely cup of tea and biscuits whilst sitting on comfy hay bales, to chat about independent living and the personal alarm system that we provide to our customers.
There will also be a plethora of promotional material being given away to the show’s attendees. We will be holding a competition to guess the correct amount of personal alarm pendants in our jar and the lucky winner will receive a luxury hamper worth over £150!
There is also a competition to win £30 worth of Marks & Spencer vouchers by checking in to our stall at the show.
The Royal Norfolk Show
The Royal Norfolk Show is the largest two-day country fair in the United Kingdom and hosts an abundance of stalls, activities, performances, and competitions. The show is organised and run by the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association (RNAA) – ‘A registered charity, founded in 1847 to promote the image, understanding and prosperity of agriculture and the countryside, primarily through its hosting of the Royal Norfolk Show.’
The show has been running almost every year since 1847 and was granted the Royal prefix by King Edward VII in 1908. It used to be held over numerous sites in Norfolk but since 1953 it has permanently been held at the Norfolk showground on the outskirts of Norwich, Norfolk.
The showground boasts a 150 acre site, a 3000 square meter indoor arena with a capacity for up to 4000 people, five conference rooms, a range of small and large exhibition areas and unlimited parking space.
Spend the day browsing over 700 retailers such as Crew Clothing or Kent Blaxhall or indulge yourself with tasty treats from over 70 local food crafts on display at the Adnams Food and Drink Experience.
Watch performances by the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery or perhaps see the RAF Falcons parachute display team free fall and parachute down from 12,000 feet into the Grand Ring. Get hands on and involved at the show with archery, fly fishing, sporting events and get up close with diverse animal breeds from Mr. Mawkin’s Farm and the Rare Breed Survival Trust. The Royal Norfolk Show is guaranteed to have events to captivate audiences of all ages.

Who are LifeConnect24?
LifeConnect24 provides a low cost pendant alarm service for anyone that is frail, elderly or disabled living in the UK. Pendant alarms are the perfect solution for elderly or disabled people living independently on their own and provides peace of mind for the alarm user, family and friends. The alarm system works as follows:
- The user of the alarm needs help, so they activate the small pendant they are wearing – around their wrist or neck.
- An alarm call is received almost immediately by our 24-hour Response Team – who work 365 days a year.
- The Response Team try to communicate with the alarm user by speaking to them over the base unit’s loudspeaker.
- The Response Team then arrange help in the form of family, friends, neighbours, or the emergency services if they are required.
MyAmie Pendant Alarm & Installation
The MyAmie pendant is very small and discreet, and can be worn around the wrist or neck thanks to the attachments provided with the alarm. The sleek pendant can also be worn whilst you’re in the bath or shower as it is completely waterproof – although we do suggest that you don’t submerge it in water for more than 30 minutes.
If you’re a keen gardener, or love playing with the grandchildren outside, then don’t worry because our pendants also have an impressive range of up to 100 metres. This means you can continue your garden activities with the knowledge that you can still call for help should you suffer a fall.
There’s no charging required with our alarm system and the batteries used will last for seven years. When the battery is running low, it will automatically send out a warning to the Response Team and a brand-new replacement will be sent out. Installation of the base unit is quick and easy as the alarm is programmed before we send them out, therefore only takes a few minutes so need for installation engineers.
