Being a Lifeline Customer Service Executive, you have to adapt to different situations on a daily basis. Why did you decide to do this job?
Because I liked the idea of being able to provide a life-saving service to vulnerable people.
How do you feel the Lifeline service helps people?
It gives them and their friends and families peace of mind to live independently.
Have you any advice for someone considering a Lifeline alarm?
Trust it; it’s a great system that can help you when you’re in need.
You speak to a wide variety of people every day in the Lifeline Customer Service Team, how do you adapt to each call?
The most important thing is to listen carefully to find out what their individual need is.
What is the best part of what you do?
For me, the best part of working in the Lifeline Customer Service team is being able to reassure vulnerable customers and provide them with lots of things they need to be able to live more independently.
What do you think is important for people to know about your job?
That I can help vulnerable people and their families with a load of different queries, big or small.
