ALARM BRACELET FOR OLDER PEOPLE

Our alarm bracelet is perfect for older people, as well as anyone living with a disability or long-term medical condition, especially if they live alone. The alarm bracelet has been designed with comfort in mind. Its discreet size and style mean that most alarm users keep their alarm bracelet on when they leave the house. The bracelet is full of the latest technology, with features such as:

• Waterproof technology. Your alarm bracelet will work whilst you’re in the bath and shower.
• 100 Metre Range. Your device will work throughout your home and outside in the garden.
• A seven-year battery. A free replacement will be sent to you once your battery begins to run low.
• Multiple wearing options. As well as a bracelet, you can also choose to wear the alarm as a pendant around your neck.

PIPER ALARM - BASE UNIT

Alongside your alarm bracelet, you will also receive the Lifeline alarm base unit. This base unit contains a built-in microphone and loudspeaker, allowing you to communicate with the Lifeline Response Team. The loudspeaker is loud enough for you to hear the Response Team even if you’re in another room.

The base unit is very easy to install. Anyone can set it up in just a few short moments. Simply plug the unit into the mains power and your telephone socket, before connecting your telephone to the back of the unit using the adaptor provided. Once everything is connected, press the red button to complete your test call with our UK-based Response Team.

HOW TO USE YOUR ALARM BRACELET

Our Alarm Bracelet is very simple to use. Here’s how it works:

• If you feel unwell or have a fall, press the red button on your Alarm Bracelet. This sends an alert call through to our Response Team.
• A member of the Response Team will respond via the base unit’s loudspeaker within a few seconds. They will assess your situation and take appropriate action.
• The Response Team will call your Emergency Contacts and ask them to attend. If necessary, they’ll also call the emergency services.
• The Response Team will stay on the line with you until help arrives at your door. Our Response Team is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
