WHAT IS THE RANGE OF THE PENDANT?

We are often asked, ‘What is the range of the Pendant?’ ‘Will it work in my garden?’ or ‘Am I covered in my driveway if I nip out to the bin?’ Thankfully, the Lifeline Pendant Alarm has a range of 100 metres (more than 300 feet). With such a huge range, you can enjoy the protection of the Lifeline Alarm service throughout your entire home and garden.

As long as you’re within range of the Lifeline alarm unit, you can press your pendant button to call for help at any time. This will raise an alert in our dedicated UK Monitoring Centre. A member of the Response Team will talk to you via the speaker in the base unit to assess the situation and send you the help you need.

Don’t worry if you are far away from the alarm base unit and can’t hear our team. Even if you don’t respond, our Response Team will treat the call as an emergency and arrange for help. If the situation is a medical emergency, we will also contact 999 on your behalf.

When you receive your Lifeline Vi Alarm and MyAmie pendant, you’ll be able to test your alarm system. Our friendly team will talk you through this process. One of the first tests is a range test. This way you can rest assured that the alarm works perfectly, even at the end of your garden or driveway.

100-METRE RANGE

The Lifeline pendant is also perfect for people who like spending time in the garden.

Given that the average UK garden is 15 metres long, the 100-metre range on the MyAmie Pendant will be more than enough to cover you outside too. You can carry on gardening, sunbathing, and playing with the grandchildren, safe in the knowledge that help will always be there when you need it.

When you press your pendant button, you will be connected to our 24-hour Response Team. They will respond immediately via the loudspeaker in your Lifeline Alarm base unit.

The alarm system works using the Lifeline Vi Alarm base unit and the discreet MyAmie Pendant:

• The pendant can be worn around the wrist or neck – both attachments are included with the alarm.
• The pendant is waterproof – so you can wear it in the bath and shower.
• The pendant has a range of up to 100 metres – perfect for elderly gardeners.
• The stylish device has a seven-year battery life. We'll send you a free replacement when the battery gets low.
