Mother's Day comes early this year and is now only a few days away. If you are struggling for present ideas for your mother or if you yourself have been asked which present you would like from your children, then why not give the gift of safety with a Life Alert alarm from Lifeline24.
The Life Alert system as been specifically created for the elderly and disabled, along with those who may be living by themselves. The aim is simple: Give these people and their families the peace of mind that help will be available should they suffer from a fall or have a medical emergency.
Life Alert Alarm
Our Life Alert Alarm comes in two different parts, the base unit and the pendant. The base unit simply needs to be connected to your telephone socket and into a mains socket for it to work correctly. Your original phone line can then be plugged into the back of the base unit. The base unit is a nice-size and will not ruin the look of your home or take up much space. The unit has a built-in loudspeaker system, which will be explained later in this post, along with three different buttons. More information about these buttons can be found on the emergency alert system webpage. Alongside the base unit you will have the MyAmie Pendant. This is the vital part of our Life Alert system as it is the quickest way to securing help should you need it. The pendant can be worn around your neck or your wrist, with both attachments included inside the box. The choice is completely up to the user and the pendant has been designed to be as comfortable as possible. The sleek and compact design means that it isn't heavy and can be worn throughout the day, even when you are popping out to the shops. How it works
Once your base unit and pendant are set-up, help will literally be just one click away. If you suffer from a fall or have a medical issue in your home then this is the process which will happen:- You need to press the big red button on your pendant or base unit.
- This will send an alert call to your 24/7 Response Team.
- A member of the Response Team will try and communicate with you over the base unit's loudspeaker system.
- After assessing your situation, he or she will contact your emergency contacts and, if needed, the emergency services.
