What is the Pebbell GPS Alarm?
The Pebbell GPS Alarm is the newest personal alarm from LifeConnect24. Just like our standard Lifeline Vi Pendant Alarm system, the Pebbell connects you to our Emergency Response Team at the touch of a button. This means that you can get help as quickly as possible if you have a fall or feel unwell. You may already know that the standard Lifeline Vi alarm is designed for use in the home and garden, with an impressive range of 100 metres. This is perfectly suitable for lots of our alarm users. But what about those times when you want to pop to the shops or visit a friend? For those who like to get out and about, the Pebbell GPS Alarm is a perfect solution. For the first time, you can access our platinum service, accredited by industry body the TSA, outside your home. The Pebbell GPS Alarm is also perfect for people with conditions like diabetes and epilepsy, who may have more active lifestyles but may be prone to seizures or fainting. Next, let's take a look at the key features of the Pebbell GPS Alarm.
GPS Locator
Of couse, the Pebbell GPS Alarm's most exciting feature is its GPS locator. When you activate the alarm, the GPS allows our Response Team to send assistance to your precise location. Wherever you are, you can rest assured that you can always call for help if you need it. The locator is accurate to around 10 metres.SIM Card Connection
Traditionally, most of our alarms worked via a landline connection. However, the Pebbell GPS Alarm comes complete with a SIM card, just like the ones used in mobile phones. This allows the alarm to connect to the mobile phone network. For this reason, the Pebbell GPS Alarm is also perfect for those without a landline connection.Handsfree Speakerphone
The Pebbell features a small microphone built into the front of the device, and a speaker built into the back. These allow you to communicate with the Response Team. If, for any reason, you are unable to communicate with the Response Team when you activate the alarm, we will always assume that help is needed and call your emergency contacts.SOS Button
The most crucial feature of any personal alarm is the call button. The Pebbell's SOS button features prominently on the front of the device. If you ever need to call for assistance, all you need to do is press and hold this button for 3 seconds. Pressing the button will connect you immediately to a member of our Response Team. They ask you some questions and assess your situation before calling your emergency contacts to come and help you. If necessary, they will also contact the emergency services. Our expert Response Team is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As soon as you have set up your alarm, you should press this SOS button to make a test call. A test call reassures you and your loved ones that everything is working properly, so you know that help will always be at hand if you need it.
